Core Training Classes
Overview
Most US Government Contractors establish "Core" training classes, which are classes all employees working on US Government contracts directly or indirectly, or employees who work within a Business Unit that has such classes, must take. These classes provide education in important aspects/regulations of US Government compliance, and a basis for ensuring the rules are followed. The following Classes are normally included in the core category. These classes are required when an employee first starts employment, so that from the outset, that employee is aware of his/her responsibility.
The "Core" classes are:
- Employee Timesheet Training
- Training - Labor Accumulation and Distribution
- Introduction to FAR Part 31 - Cost Principles
- Introduction to Government Contracting
- Training - Procurement Integrity and Byrd Amendment
- Training - Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
- Training - Proprietary Data Rights
- Training - Certifications and Representations
- Training - Intra-Organizational Transfer Policy (Material Cost Rule
