Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving, overseeing, maintaining and leading our compliance program. The compliance function is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of our global business activities comply with all laws, regulations and policies applicable to those activities.

This position is responsible for:

  • Providing practical, solution oriented guidance on all aspects of USG compliance for all Business Units that contract with the US Government; and
  • Developing, maintaining and overseeing a comprehensive US Government contracting compliance program, to include development and maintenance of Group policies, tools and other resources related to US contracting laws, rules and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).

Responsibilities

  • Improve and oversee a comprehensive compliance program designed to prevent, detect and mitigate occurrences of non-compliance;
  • Manage all facets of the compliance program including identification of best practices, training, auditing, monitoring and updating (as necessary) compliance-related internal codes and policies


  • Assist in identifying and managing risks related to legal or regulatory compliance matters;
  • When instances of non-compliance are detected, act to mitigate the damage to the maximum extent possible;
  • Cultivate internal relationships with key stakeholders as well as build a network of resources externally to complete department goals;
  • Maintain our focus on integrity in all our business transactions and compliance with our internal codes and policies across Rogers.

  • Developing and maintaining Group policies, tools and other resources related to USG Contracting and Group compliance programs and overseeing Group compliance monitoring
  • Assisting Business Units with responses to allegations of non-compliance and any other material disputes and ensure proper communication across various US audit agencies
  • Supporting Group employees with the interpretation and application of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARs) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) as well as any other specific agency regulations.
  • Identifying potential non-compliance areas (risk areas) and ensuring that the proper policies, procedures, and knowledge is available to Group employees to ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to USG contracting.
  • Providing technical support, guidance, and research to Group personnel on ongoing and new issues affecting US Government contracting compliance

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills effective across all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision;

General working knowledge of compliance related aspects of FAR, DFARS, and CAS.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management or related field with an advanced degree preferred. A detailed working knowledge of FAR, CAS, TINA and related rules and regulations; 10 or more years of experience in implementing USG compliance programs
